Where can you go to reminisce about the Wild West and all its colorful legends?  Cheyenne, Wyoming of course!  This town was carved out by the pioneers coming through on one of the numerous trails heading west and then came the great railroad which helped Cheyenne to develop into the city it is today.  Cheyenne still has a Wild West feel to it, with rowdy town bars, elegant opera houses, among theaters and business establishments.   Here, you’ll discover the unchanging culture of where the cowboys where born and it seems it was never touched by the wheels of time.

One of the best loved events is hosted in Cheyenne, Wyoming is Frontier Days.  Frontier Days is 10 fun filled days of western fun ranging from rodeos to musical entertainment to tours of historic Cheyenne sites.  The rodeos are the world’s largest since 1897.  There are performances daily, and this is where you can see bull riding, saddle bronc, bareback, rookie bronc, steer wrestling, steer roping, team roping, tie-down roping and barrel racing.  

The nights are filled with with musical entertainment from artist such as Rascal Flatts, Taylor Swift, Blake Shelton, and Kellie Pickler.  You can also tour the Old Western Museum, browse through the Western Art Show, or visit the Buckn’ a Saloon for dancing and a good old western time at its best.  No matter what you choose to do its non-stop activity and hospitality at its western best at Frontier Days in Cheyenne, Wyoming!
