Wyoming Horseback Adventure

Horseback riding adventures come no better than in Wyoming.  There are Dude Ranches, when you can live the cowboy life for a couple of weeks at a time. There are trail rides and long excursions and adventures in Yellowstone National Park and the Grand Teton Wilderness Area.  Some of the adventures available are horseback hunting, horseback fishing, backpacking, camping, wildlife watching adventures and wilderness pack trips.

With all of these possibilities, it seems that anyone could have a great time on one of these adventures. All levels of riders are welcome in both styles of Western and English. Trails cover many terrains so neither the rider or horse get bored. All adventures from each different adventure company are different.

Wilderness Trails Inc. offers a Bedroll and Breakfast tour. This starts at approx 5pm arrival at their facility, where everyone gets their horse and equipment set and the trail ride begins. There is a ride to an overnight camp with wall lit camping tents, the next morning country breakfast is served in a large cook tent, warmed by a wood burning stove on frosty mornings. After breakfast (which can be served early) you can opt for a half-day or full-day trail ride, which is the perfect end for this particular excursion.   This package can be done with groups of adults or families as well. The camp atmosphere makes this a great family adventure and it is affordable as well at $200 per adult and $150 per child 17 and under.
